Cell Imaging

Cell imaging is performed using the Amnis ImageStreamX Mk II, a cutting-edge single-cell flow cytometer that integrates the quantitative power of flow cytometry with the detailed spatial and morphological insights of microscopy. This hybrid approach allows for comprehensive single-cell analysis, capturing multiple images per cell to provide rich, multi-dimensional data sets.
In addition to classical fluorescence intensity measurements, advanced imaging enables the detection and quantification of signal distributions within cells or even between cells in cellular conjugates. Thanks to a dedicated software for spectral compensation, it is also possible to perform imaging and statistical analyses for a wide range of applications, including apoptosis, cell cycle, co-localization, internalization, shape change, spot counting.
Key applications include:
•    Examination of cell phenotype and morphology;
•    Molecular marker co-localization studies;
•    Cell health and apoptosis monitoring.
